Imagine the benefits if roofs, windows, sunshades, and even building façades turned sunshine into power…

Solar cells are mostly on roofs to get sunlight throughout the day. But many houses and buildings have limited installation areas or face the wrong direction. Building Integrated Photovoltaics (BIPV) now offer a way to turn building elements into solar cells.

BIPV can be installed as windows, sunshades, façades and roof tiles to get solar energy from every direction and maximize clean energy from sunlight. The technology depends on each solar cell's power generation technology and efficiency, sunlight exposure direction, and location. But Thailand has good sunlight all day long that is suitable for BIPV solar cells.

Imagine if every building in Thailand using this innovation… Think about how much we could reduce emissions.
