Negative Pressure ER 100% Fresh Air

Negative Pressure ER 100% Fresh Air

"Negative Pressure ER (Emergency Room) 100% Fresh Air" is designed with health and well-being principles.

The system ensures safety with air circulation control, energy-efficient and flexible design, and easy mobility. Mental health design principles are applied in the exterior walls to help patients relax as they wait for treatment.

Blue light reduces stress 3 times faster than white light, benefiting patients, their relatives, and passersby.

RISC developed the room in collaboration with EEC. A negative pressure of 12 Pa exceeds the minimum requirement of 7.5 Pa. The anteroom for medical staff is set at 5 Pa to prevent contaminated air from escaping, preventing the spread of germs.

The room is designed with different negative pressure zones and a one-way route to reduce infection risks and prevent the spread of germs.

Additionally, the system is designed to extract air directly from patients, preventing the spread of germs within the room.

The air passes through a HEPA filter to trap germs before being released outside, ensuring safety inside and around the room. Fresh air is continuously supplied for constant air exchange, avoiding recirculation of old air, and the air conditioning system controls airflow direction by separating each area.
