RISC MQDC Standard
“sustainable well-being for all lives.”
The company works with its Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC) under a sustainability standard that boosts well-being in 3 key areas.
MQDC STANDARD
MQDC Standard is founded on “Sustainnovation”, sustainable innovation to foster the well-being of residents, local people, the surrounding environment, and the planet. The standard’s unique criteria build well-being in 3 key areas.
ENERGY
& ECOLOGY
Conserving energy and creating healthy ecosystems are at the heart of MQDC under its concept of “For All Well-Being”. This principle aims to provide sustainable quality of life for people, animals, and all nature. The company focuses on nurturing healthy and diverse ecosystems. Biological design features buildings and materials that save energy and water. Air conditioning systems are efficient and environment-friendly to reduce greenhouse gases and produce less heat, protecting communities and society.
HEALTH
AND WELLNESS
Design standards promote good indoor air through natural ventilation coupled with fresh air systems. Materials are non-toxic with low levels of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to safeguard health. Well-being gains further from lighting, soundproofing, and layouts tailored for comfort and safety.
MQDC enhances outdoor air quality with its innovative Fahsai air purifier, a city-level air-cleaning tower to reduce PM2.5 for local communities.
SENSES
& HAPPINESS
Homes and neighborhoods should align with how we live our lives. MQDC has researched sustainable happiness to design living spaces and activities to meet everyone’s needs. Design enhances perception and brings relaxation and joy. Materials, colors, and the harmonious integration of nature add further to an stress-free setting.
