11 December 2018, Bangkok – Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC) led by Assoc. Prof. Dr Singh Intrachooto, its Chief Advisor, welcomed Mr Daan Roosegaarde, a Dutch artist and the founder of Studio Roosegaarde, which develops innovation and technology for the environment and society. Dr Singh and RISC researchers team attended a presentation on Roosegaarde’s work such as the Van Gogh Path, which uses glowing rock to light a bike path without electricity, and the Smog Free Tower, which absorbs airborne dust both PM2.5 and PM10. RISC has a strong interest in developing environmental innovations, especially to reduce energy consumption
