14 May 2019, Bangkok – Assoc. Prof. Dr. Singh Intrachooto, Chief Advisor to Research & Innovation for Sustainability Center (RISC), spoke on ‘Upcycling: A Green Trend within the Well-being and Sustainability Framework’ at ‘Flip ideas ... waste materials to invisible profit’. The seminar assisted small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by outlining the macro trends driving the development of products for 2 global green markets: 1) products and services with low environmental impacts such as organic products, eco-tourism, and biodegradable materials and 2) products and services that manage waste well such as waste disposal and clean energy. The seminar gave examples to help SMEs enter the green market, which continues to grow both in Thailand and abroad. Mr. Chalermpol Tuchinda, Assistant Director National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), gave the opening speech at Sala Thai room, Ambassador Hotel.
