MQDC’s RISC, FutureTales Lab, and Nebula joined “Hack Jai” by Thai PBS, MIND LAB Incubation, Department of Mental Health, and partners. The event presented innovations in urban planning for mental health. Urban design and infrastructure should consider mental health under the “Smiling Cities” concept for safe living and universal access to mental health spaces and services. “From today, Thai society cannot only work to create smart cities. ‘Smiling Cities’ will be equally important.”

FutureTales Lab was represented by Ms. Wipattra Totemchokchaikarn, Senior Foresight Researcher, and Mr. Nuttawut Kulkaew, Foresight Researcher. They spoke on 5 key aspects for urban development to improve mental health to help promote the creation of “Smiling Cities” in the future.

“Hack Jai” aims to promote sustainable prevention of mental health issues, supporting cooperation across sectors for everyone’s long-term mental health.
